The tone-on-tone colorways let those architectural lines flow from tile to tile into a continuous pattern, so the floor reads as one composition rather than a grid of separate tiles. Each plank is manufactured domestically using 100% Eco Solution Q nylon. The plank format adds eight approved layouts, and the 12-color palette leans heavily toward deep grays and browns.

Best for: Corporate headquarters, architecture and design studios, urban hotels, co-working spaces, restaurants and upscale retail.

Colors

Trendy 00100: a mid stone gray, among the lightest in a mostly deep palette.

Artistic 00200: warm khaki-tan that gives the skyline lines a vintage Deco warmth.

Chic 00400: cool graphite with a faint blue cast, crisp beside glass and steel.

Contemporary 00500: brownish mid-dark gray with an earthy tone.

Smart 00502: smoky dark gray, neutral and businesslike.

Sophisticated 00505: near-black charcoal for dramatic lobbies and dark-ceiling spaces.

Modish 00512: an olive-tinged dark gray that reads quietly rich.

Swell 00515: deep charcoal with a cool lean, almost ink.

Fad 00702: dark umber-gray with brown warmth.

Stylish 00705: deep espresso brown, the warmest of the darks.

Fabulous 00712: bronze-brown that recalls Deco metalwork.

In Vogue 00715: black-olive charcoal, very dark and subtly warm.

Ten of the 12 Modernist colors are dark, which makes this style a strong choice where soil-hiding matters. Free samples show how the tone-on-tone skyline reads in each.

Why Choose Modernist 18x36

Skyline-inspired linear pattern that mixes Art Deco character with modern design

Tone-on-tone colors create a seamless, continuous pattern across tiles

Fiber is 100% Eco Solution Q nylon; country of manufacture is the USA

Eight approved installation methods for the 18x36 plank

Mostly deep, soil-hiding palette suited to high-traffic commercial floors

Installation Methods

Modernist 18x36 can be installed in Monolithic, Ashlar, Brick, Stagger, Herringbone, Basketweave, Half Basketweave or Boxed In layouts. A monolithic installation keeps every skyline line pointed the same way and gives the most continuous pattern, which is how the design is meant to read. Brick and Ashlar offsets keep a linear feel while hiding end joints. Herringbone and the basketweave methods break the skyline into a geometric weave, which can suit a lobby feature.
