The small-scale motif uses soft edges and curves, and contrasting color combinations give it a layered sense of depth. Made in the USA, Refocus comes in 10 colors and pairs with Reset, a larger-scale curved pattern in the same color names. Its rectangular plank format supports eight installation methods, so the same retro motif can sit quietly in a monolithic field or take on more movement in herringbone.

Best for: Creative agency offices, startup workspaces, cafes and break rooms, boutique hotels, coworking lounges and student centers that want a little personality underfoot.

Colors

Evolve 00200: warm greige with brown depth, a natural match for teak and walnut.

Connect 00300: deep gray with a green-neutral lean.

Balance 00400: straightforward mid gray for a quieter version of the pattern.

Morph 00406: dark blue-slate, the coolest tone in Refocus.

Mature 00500: warm stone gray that keeps the retro motif subtle.

Compose 00502: pebble gray, a hair lighter and more neutral than Mature.

Modify 00510: smoky charcoal-brown for darker zones.

Invent 00600: sandy cinnamon taupe, the lightest and warmest color in the set.

Shift 00700: khaki-taupe with a vintage, earthy feel.

Alter 00705: tobacco brown that reads very mid-century.

The browns (Evolve, Invent, Alter) lean into the 1970s look, while Balance, Compose and Morph give a cooler, modern take. Order free samples to see the pattern contrast up close.

Why Choose Refocus 18x36

Small-scale geometric pattern with soft curves drawn from 1960s and 1970s design

18x36 plank format approved for eight layouts, including Herringbone and Basketweave

Coordinates with Reset, its larger-scale companion

Made in the USA by Philadelphia Commercial

10 colors from cool blue-slate to cinnamon and tobacco

Installation Methods

Refocus can go down eight ways: the straight-lay Monolithic, three offset methods (Stagger, Ashlar, Brick), and four woven or grouped patterns (Herringbone, Basketweave, Half Basketweave, Boxed In). Because the motif is small and busy on its own, Monolithic or Stagger keep the floor readable across a large office; Herringbone and Basketweave stack another layer of geometry on top and work best in a defined zone such as a cafe or lounge. Boxed In groups tiles into square blocks for a gridded, mid-century look.
