The long, narrow plank reads almost like wood flooring in layout, and it shares a 15-color palette with the Harmony and Medley styles so the three can be combined. On a 12x48 plank, Monolithic and the offset methods (Ashlar, Brick, Offset, Stagger) produce long parallel lines that pull the eye down a hallway, much like a plank floor. Herringbone turns the planks into a zigzag that is especially striking at this long, narrow proportion, best kept to lobbies or feature zones.
