The 2:1 rectangle is the most pattern-friendly size in the family. It can go down in herringbone, running bond, or a vertical stack, and on walls it reads like oversized stone brick. It is also small enough for a modest bathroom floor without looking crowded, and it pairs with the 16x16 or 16x24 when you want a field and a border from the same stone visual.

Best for: Herringbone floors, kitchen backsplashes, accent walls, bathroom floors and walls, and entry halls.

Colors

Ivory 00100: a pale cream stone that shows off a herringbone pattern without overwhelming it.

Grey 00500: a cool gray limestone look that sits well beside stainless appliances in a backsplash.

Walnut 00600: a warm brown that gives a mudroom or entry the feel of an old stone hall.

Why Choose Basanite Legacy 8x16

2:1 rectangle for herringbone, running bond, or stacked layouts

Brick-like scale for backsplashes and accent walls

Glazed porcelain body absorbing 0.50% water or less

Break strength of at least 500 lbf

Wet DCOF of 0.42 or more for kitchen and bath floors

Frost resistant for outdoor use

Where to Install

Use the 512TS on floors and walls throughout the home, and outdoors thanks to its frost resistance.
