The rectangle is the most flexible member of its family: run it in a 1/3 offset for a classic floor, stack it vertically on a shower wall, or set it in herringbone for movement that a square cannot give. Because ceramic is lighter and easier to cut than porcelain, this size is also a comfortable pick for wall projects and DIY-minded remodelers.

Best for: Bathroom floors and walls, shower walls, tub surrounds, kitchen floors, laundry rooms, mudrooms, hallways and wainscot (interior).

Colors

Radiance 00100: pale, warm-leaning gray with the airy feel of freshly troweled plaster.

Vision 00500: medium gray tinged with taupe that gives a bathroom a grounded, architectural tone.

Horizon 00700: beige-tan with warmth similar to sun-baked stucco, good for softening a modern scheme.

Why Choose Fervor 12x24

Nominal 12" x 24" format works in offset, stacked, vertical and herringbone layouts

0.335" thick glazed ceramic that cuts cleanly around niches, outlets and tub decks

Wet DCOF of at least 0.42 with a matte face for interior bath and kitchen floors

Mohs glaze hardness of 8 for day-to-day durability underfoot

19.38 sq ft in each box

Moderate (V2) variation that adds subtle tonal shifts across a wall or floor

Where to Install

Shaw rates Fervor 12x24 as a floor tile, so it is suitable for interior floors as well as walls. It fits primary baths, shower walls, tub surrounds, kitchens, laundry rooms and entryways. This tile has no frost rating, which means it should stay inside the conditioned part of the house rather than on outdoor patios or unheated porches. On floors, limit the offset to 33% or less since the long side exceeds 18", which reduces lippage at the tile ends.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can Fervor 12x24 tile go on shower walls? Yes. Shaw Fervor 12x24 is glazed ceramic, which is lighter than porcelain and easy to cut, making it a practical choice for shower walls and tub surrounds installed over a proper waterproofing membrane.

What is the best layout for Fervor 12x24? Shaw Fervor 12x24 looks clean in a stacked or 1/3 running-bond layout; avoid a 50% offset on the 24" side, because the slight bow common in long tiles can leave uneven edges. Herringbone is another option for floors and feature walls.

Is Fervor 12x24 a porcelain tile? No. Shaw Fervor 12x24 is glazed ceramic, not porcelain.
