The elongated hexagon is a modern twist on the classic hex: the longer shape gives a wall direction, so it can run vertically to draw the eye up or horizontally to widen a backsplash. A box covers 20.76 sq ft, the most of the three Format mosaics, which helps on larger accent walls. Shaw classifies it as an accent tile for interior feature areas.

Best for: Kitchen backsplashes, bar walls, bathroom accent walls behind a vanity or tub, and fireplace surrounds.

Colors

Pearl 00100: a clean white elongated hex that lets the shape speak for itself.

Eggshell 00200: a warm off-white that softens a kitchen next to wood cabinetry.

Concrete 00500: a light gray with an urban, understated tone.

Khaki 00700: a sand-taupe that brings earthy warmth to a backsplash.

Midnight 00900: matte black hexagons for a graphic, modern wall.

Why Choose Format Elongated Hex

Stretched hexagon shape for a contemporary take on hex tile

Matte finish in five colors, white to black

11.5" x 13" sheets with 20.76 sq ft per box

Glazed porcelain mosaic intended for accent work

Works vertically or horizontally to change how a wall feels

Where to Install

Format Elongated Hex is an accent tile for interior walls and feature areas: kitchen backsplashes, bar walls, bathroom accent walls behind a vanity or tub, and fireplace surrounds.
