The picket shape brings movement that the plain Trace rectangles and squares do not have, so it serves as the accent piece in a Trace installation: a backsplash above a Trace floor, a shower niche, or a band across a bathroom wall. Because it ships as mounted sheets, it goes up faster than setting individual small pieces.

Best for: Kitchen backsplashes, shower niches, bathroom accent walls, bar backsplashes and fireplace surrounds.

Colors

Pearl 00150: light gray pickets that give a backsplash texture without adding strong color.

Creme 00200: cream pickets that soften a kitchen with warm wood cabinets.

Gunmetal 00500: dark gray pickets that create a bold, graphic pattern behind a range.

Why Choose Trace Picket Mosaic

Picket mosaic pattern adds movement to the solid Trace concrete look

Polished finish that catches under-cabinet lighting

Mounted 11.81" x 11.81" sheets for faster installation

Frost resistant for exterior accent areas

Coordinates with every Trace field size and the Trace Bullnose

Dense porcelain body, 0.50% or less water absorption

Where to Install

Trace Picket Mosaic is an accent tile, best used in defined areas such as kitchen and bar backsplashes, shower niches, bathroom feature walls and fireplace surrounds. It is frost resistant, so an outdoor kitchen backsplash is also an option. Let the larger Trace sizes cover the main floors and walls while the mosaic carries the pattern.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a picket mosaic tile? A picket mosaic is made of slim, elongated pieces with angled ends that lock together like a row of fence pickets. Shaw Trace Picket Mosaic (325TS) arrives mounted on 11.81" x 11.81" sheets in a polished concrete-look porcelain.

Is Trace Picket Mosaic good for a backsplash? Yes. Shaw Trace Picket Mosaic is a porcelain accent tile with a polished face that wipes clean easily, and its water absorption of 0.50% or less suits splash zones behind sinks and ranges.

What grout should I use with a picket mosaic? Mosaics have many grout lines, so grout color strongly shapes the look of Shaw Trace Picket Mosaic.
