Is Revival Walnut Herringbone real hardwood? Yes. It's engineered hardwood: a real American walnut surface, 4.5 mm thick, over a stable layered core, 5/8" thick overall.

How is it installed? Glue-down only. It's approved above, on or below grade over a properly prepared subfloor.

Is it waterproof? No. Like all real hardwood it isn't waterproof, so wipe up spills promptly and avoid full bathrooms and other wet areas.

Will the color change over time? Yes. Anderson Tuftex lists Revival Walnut as light sensitive, so its color will shift with sun exposure. Rotate rugs and furniture now and then so it ages evenly.

Can it go over radiant heat? Anderson Tuftex doesn't list radiant heat approval for the herringbone, so call us at 1-888-976-8166 before planning it over a radiant system.

How many cartons do I need? Each carton covers 9.85 sq ft. Multiply your room's square footage by 1.08 to add 8% overage, then divide by 9.85 and round up. For example, a 500 sq ft room needs 55 cartons.
