Bjelin Nature XL – Natural Walnut

Natural Walnut brings a genuine walnut wear layer to Bjelin's Nature XL collection, pairing real wood character with the impact-resistant Woodura® hardened-wood construction used across the whole line.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this real walnut or a stain applied to oak? Natural Walnut is genuine walnut species — a real walnut wear layer bonded to Bjelin's Compositek™ core, not a stain or printed wood-look surface.

How does it compare to the Oak colors in this collection? Same Woodura® hardened-wood technology, Compositek™ core, and Välinge 5G® Dry locking as the Oak Nature XL colors, but a true walnut wear layer gives it a naturally richer, warmer grain than any of the oak colorways.

What's the wear rating? Class 22 residential wear rating, suited to everyday living spaces like bedrooms, living rooms, and dining rooms.

Genuine Walnut, Engineered to Outlast It

Natural Walnut pairs a real walnut wear layer with Bjelin's Woodura® hardened-wood technology and a Compositek™ core, giving this naturally warm walnut colorway added impact resistance over traditional hardwood.

Comfort Underfoot & Easy Installation

The Välinge 5G® Dry locking system lets Natural Walnut go down as a floating floor with no glue or nails, while sealing each joint against everyday moisture. Standard 48-hour acclimation is recommended before installation.

Design Pairing Guide — Natural Walnut

Natural Walnut's rich, warm brown tones suit traditional, transitional, and modern-organic interiors. Pairs naturally with cream, olive, and warm neutral palettes, plus brass or oil-rubbed bronze hardware.

Ideal Applications

Living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, home offices, and kitchens with normal moisture exposure. Not recommended for full bathrooms, saunas, or exterior installations.
