Bjelin Viken – Misty White Oak

Misty White Oak brings genuine European oak character to Bjelin's Viken collection — a narrower, softer-format plank built on the same impact-resistant Woodura® hardened-wood construction as the rest of the Bjelin lineup, in a Blended Select + Nature grade for a calmer, more uniform look.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is Viken different from Oak Nature XL or Oak Select XL? Viken uses a narrower 5.94" x 78.74" plank (vs. 8-1/4" x 87" for XL lines) and a Blended Select + Nature grade that combines the calmer look of Select grade with some of Nature grade's character — a distinct middle-ground option, not simply a smaller version of either line.

Is this real wood? Yes — Misty White Oak is a genuine European oak wear layer bonded to Bjelin's Compositek™ core via Woodura® hardened-wood technology, not a stain or printed wood-look surface.

Genuine European Oak, Engineered to Outlast It

Misty White Oak pairs a real European oak wear layer with Bjelin's Woodura® hardened-wood technology and a Compositek™ core, giving this soft, cool-toned colorway added impact resistance over traditional hardwood — in Viken's narrower, understated plank format.

Comfort Underfoot & Easy Installation

The Välinge 5G® Fold Down locking system lets Misty White Oak go down as a floating floor with no glue or nails, while sealing each joint against everyday moisture. Standard 48-hour acclimation is recommended before installation.

Design Pairing Guide — Misty White Oak

Misty White Oak's soft, cool-toned finish suits Scandinavian, coastal, and contemporary interiors. Pairs well with light greys, cool blues, and brushed-nickel or matte-black hardware.

Ideal Applications

Living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, home offices, and kitchens with normal moisture exposure. Not recommended for full bathrooms, saunas, or exterior installations.
