Bjelin Viken – Terra Brown Oak

Terra Brown Oak brings genuine European oak character to Bjelin's Viken collection — a narrower, softer-format plank built on the same impact-resistant Woodura® hardened-wood construction as the rest of the Bjelin lineup, in a Blended Select + Nature grade for a calmer, more uniform look.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is Viken different from Oak Nature XL or Oak Select XL? Viken uses a narrower 5.94" x 78.74" plank (vs. 8-1/4" x 87" for XL lines) and a Blended Select + Nature grade that combines the calmer look of Select grade with some of Nature grade's character — a distinct middle-ground option, not simply a smaller version of either line.

Is this the same as Terra Brown Oak Select, Terra Brown Oak Nature, or Terra Brown Walnut? No — this is Terra Brown Oak in the Viken line specifically (SKU 310023). Similar tone family exists across several Bjelin lines with different species/SKUs; confirm SKU 310023 when ordering.

Genuine European Oak, Engineered to Outlast It

Terra Brown Oak pairs a real European oak wear layer with Bjelin's Woodura® hardened-wood technology and a Compositek™ core, giving this rich, warm-brown colorway added impact resistance over traditional hardwood — in Viken's narrower, understated plank format.

Comfort Underfoot & Easy Installation

The Välinge 5G® Fold Down locking system lets Terra Brown Oak go down as a floating floor with no glue or nails, while sealing each joint against everyday moisture. Standard 48-hour acclimation is recommended before installation.

Design Pairing Guide — Terra Brown Oak

Terra Brown Oak's rich, warm-brown tone suits traditional, rustic, and modern-farmhouse interiors. Pairs well with cream and warm-white walls, forest green accents, and aged-brass or oil-rubbed-bronze hardware.

Ideal Applications

Living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, home offices, and kitchens with normal moisture exposure. Not recommended for full bathrooms, saunas, or exterior installations.

Why Choose Terra Brown Oak?
