Kingston Oak (VV855-05065) is a light natural-oak waterproof plank from COREtec Originals Enhanced that pairs high plank-to-plank variation with a 12 mm WPC construction. Its 7" x 60" format and attached 3 mm cork backing make it feel substantial underfoot, while the waterproof foamed core lets it run from the kitchen straight through to the bath. A 20 mil wear layer protects the print.

The Look

Kingston Oak is a light, natural oak with high variation between planks, so some boards look pale and clean while others show more grain and tone. The mix gives a relaxed, natural feel, and the painted bevel defines each board.

Installation

Kingston Oak can be installed floating or glued, on any grade level. Run continuous floors under 2,500 sq ft with a ¼" gap at the perimeter; larger floors need ½". If you have in-floor heat, COREtec caps the floor temperature at 85°F.

Is Kingston Oak a light or medium floor? It is a light natural oak, but with high variation, so expect a range of lighter and slightly richer planks across the room.

Can Kingston Oak go in a bathroom? Yes. The core is 100% waterproof and won't warp or buckle from splashes or a wet bath mat. COREtec's warranty does not cover flooding or standing water from leaks, so deal with any plumbing leak right away.

Do I need to let Kingston Oak acclimate? No. COREtec's installation guide says acclimation is not required. Install between 55°F and 85°F in a climate-controlled space.

Is Kingston Oak suitable for a small business? It carries a 10-year commercial limited warranty in addition to the lifetime limited residential warranty, so it can work in a shop or office.
