Coretec Plus Grande Aleta Oak 9" x 82"

COREtec Originals Premium Grande Aleta Oak — 9" Mixed-Length Waterproof Vinyl Plank

COREtec Grande Aleta Oak is a 15 mm waterproof vinyl plank from COREtec Originals Premium that pairs a traditional oak visual with an extra-long, mixed-length format. Sold for years as COREtec Plus Grande, the line keeps its patented Waterproof Foamed Core and adds a 30 mil wear layer and pre-attached cork for a quiet, cushioned walk.

Best for: Family rooms, kitchens and long hallways where you want the warmth of brown oak without worrying about spills.

The Look

Aleta Oak shows warm, multitoned brown and beige grain running the full length of each board. Because the planks come in three lengths, the end joints land at varied points across the room, and the enhanced painted bevel draws a soft shadow line along every plank edge.

Why Choose Aleta Oak?

• Multitoned brown-and-beige oak grain that helps disguise everyday dust
• Boards up to 82" long mean fewer end joints across a big room
• 15 mm thick, 3 mm more than the standard Premium 9" plank
• Attached 3 mm cork, so there is no separate pad to buy
• COREtec's patented 100% waterproof, kidproof, petproof construction

Installation

Aleta Oak clicks together as a floating floor or can be glued directly with Shaw 200 or an equivalent adhesive. Any grade level works, and the cartons can be opened and installed right away, because COREtec says this floor needs no acclimation. Keep the room between 55 and 85°F during installation and confirm your subfloor varies no more than 3/16" across any 10-foot span.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Aleta Oak really waterproof? Yes. COREtec describes its foamed core as 100% waterproof and says it won't warp or buckle. The warranty covers topical spills that stay on the surface; it does not cover flooding, standing water from a leaking appliance, or moisture coming up through the subfloor.

Why are Grande planks different lengths? Each carton mixes 28", 55" and 82" boards. Mixing lengths spreads the end joints out the way a site-finished hardwood floor would, which looks more natural than a single repeating length.

Does Aleta Oak need an underlayment? No. A 3 mm cork layer is bonded to the back of every plank. An optional 6 mil poly vapor retarder can go underneath on concrete, per COREtec's guide.

What warranty comes with Aleta Oak? A Lifetime limited residential warranty for indoor home use, plus a 10-year commercial limited warranty for business installations.

How much flooring is in one carton? Each carton of Aleta Oak covers 20.67 sq ft. Add about 8% for cuts and spare boards when you work out your order.
