Soft Step Underlayment: Quieter and Warmer

COREtec says its Soft Step underlayment "provides quiet and warmth underfoot and is made from recycled materials." It comes attached to every plank, so there's no separate underlayment to buy, and it helps soften footstep noise in busy homes, condos and upstairs rooms.

Waterproof, Kidproof and Petproof

COREtec backs every Originals style with a 100% waterproof, kidproof, petproof guarantee. The Waterproof Foamed Core won't swell when it gets wet, and Tranquil Oak is rated for installation above, on or below grade, so it works in kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms and basements.

Installation

Tranquil Oak installs as a floating floor (COREtec lists float installation only for this plank). Follow COREtec's Originals installation guide and the Soft Step installation instructions for subfloor prep and warranty coverage.
