Eternal Step Stone Commercial Safety Sheet Vinyl Flooring by Forbo

Eternal Step Stone puts concrete, speckled and tile visuals on Forbo's Eternal Step safety sheet. Slip-resistant particles run through the wear layer, so the floor keeps its grip as it wears, and Forbo rates the Eternal Step range R10 (DIN 51130). It is a good fit when a project needs a safety floor that looks like poured concrete or tile instead of a solid color.

Best for: Corridors, ramps, washrooms and restrooms, break areas, craft and art classrooms and other public areas where occasional spills happen.

How Safety Sheet Vinyl Is Sold

Eternal Step Stone is a 2.0 mm (0.080") slip-resistant vinyl sheet in rolls about 79" (2 m) wide x about 82 ft long, about 60 sq yd per roll. It is cut to the length your project needs and quoted by the square yard. The factory edge is not seam quality, so allow at least 1" for seam trimming at each seam. Give us your room dimensions and we will help you plan roll cuts and quantities.

Because sheet is cut to your order, cut sheet goods are not returnable. Please confirm colors with samples and measurements with your installer before ordering.

Installation and Supplies

Eternal Step Stone is a glue-down floor installed by a flooring professional, with seams heat-welded. Installation supplies are sold only with an Eternal flooring order and are included in your quote.

• Adhesive: Forbo V 885, Forbo Sustain 1195 or Forbo 660, as listed for Eternal Step on Forbo's US website. Your installer selects the adhesive based on the subfloor and job conditions.
• Seams: Heat welded with Eternal Step welding rod (4 mm, 165 linear ft per spool), as required by Forbo's data sheet
• Care: A neutral pH cleaner (solution pH 6.0 to 8.0) for routine cleaning. Forbo's Caring for Forbo Eternal Step guide says not to use mop-on restorer or floor finish, because they can reduce slip resistance
