Marmoleum Cinch Loc Seal Panel - Alpine Mist 12" x 36"

Marmoleum Cinch Loc Seal Alpine Mist — 12" x 36" Click Linoleum Panel

Alpine Mist is a Marmoleum Cinch Loc Seal panel: a floating linoleum floor plank measuring about 12" by 36", with Forbo's natural linoleum on top, a waterproof HDF core in the middle and cork on the underside. Installation is glue-free thanks to a tongue-and-groove click joint. It is a good choice when you want a soft, misty mid-grey without moving to vinyl.

Best for: bedrooms, guest rooms, nurseries and light-filled living spaces.

The Look

Forbo's colour data puts Alpine Mist at NCS S 3005-G50Y with an LRV of 31%: a restrained mid grey with a faint green-yellow cast, more like mountain haze on a dull day than a pale white mist, and well suited to calm rooms. We do not have a Forbo colour write-up for Alpine Mist, so treat a physical sample as the final word on its tone in your light.

Why Choose Alpine Mist

• Comfort underfoot: the bonded cork backing helps make each step quieter.
• Ready-finished surface: Forbo's Topshield pro coating comes applied at the factory and needs no extra finish coats.
• Friendly to radiant heat: Forbo approves hydronic (water-based) systems with substrate temperatures held at or below 85°F.
• Hygienic by nature: Forbo reports that the linseed-oil content inhibits bacterial growth, based on laboratory testing.

Installation

Plan a 3/8" expansion gap around the whole room and at every fixed object such as pipes and door frames. Alpine Mist should acclimate at least 48 hours in conditions near 75°F and 50% relative humidity. Rooms longer or wider than 40 feet need an expansion joint, which can be covered with a T-molding.

Frequently Asked Questions

What colour is Alpine Mist? It is a soft mid grey with a faint green-yellow undertone (Forbo NCS S 3005-G50Y, LRV 31%). Order a free sample to see it against your walls and daylight before buying.

Can I use Alpine Mist in a nursery? It is a sensible pick for a nursery: the cork backing softens the floor and the surface is anti-static, so dust can be swept up with a dry mop.

Does Alpine Mist need to be waxed or sealed? No. Forbo's Topshield pro factory finish should be left in place and does not require additional finish coats.

Is there a minimum order? Yes, Marmoleum Cinch Loc Seal ships with a 5 carton minimum, and a full pallet holds 32 cartons.
