Marmoleum Cinch Loc Seal Panel - Clay 12" x 36"

Marmoleum Cinch Loc Seal Clay — 12" x 36" Click Linoleum Panel

Clay is an earthy colour of Marmoleum Cinch Loc Seal, Forbo's floating linoleum panel in a roughly 12" x 36" size. Each panel has a natural linoleum wear surface, a waterproof HDF core and a cork backing, and it locks together with a Välinge 5G click joint. It suits homes leaning toward warm, natural palettes.

Best for: kitchens, mudrooms, sunrooms and southwest or Mediterranean-style interiors.

The Look

The name points to the warm earth tones of fired or raw clay. Expect a grounded colour that sits comfortably beside wood and terracotta. Forbo does not publish a description, so check a sample in your own light.

Why Choose Clay

• Earthy, natural material: linseed oil, pine rosin and wood flour form the surface.
• Handles daily messes: thanks to Forbo's waterproof Seal core.
• Comfort built in: cork backing for quieter rooms.
• Factory finished: Topshield pro needs no added coats.

Installation

Clay can go over most clean, dry and sound subfloors. Expansion joints are needed in doorways between rooms and in any space over 40 feet in length or width. Transitions should be anchored without screwing or nailing through the panels.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Clay a red or a brown? Forbo does not describe the colour in writing. The name suggests a warm earth tone, and a free sample will show you exactly where it falls.

Do I need transitions between rooms? Yes. Forbo requires expansion joints in doorways connecting rooms, hallways and closets; a T-molding can cover them.

Is Clay good for a mudroom? It is a practical choice: Forbo says the range resists kids, pets and water, and the anti-static surface makes sweeping easy.

How heavy is a carton? Each carton of 7 panels weighs about 40 lbs and covers 20.34 sq ft.
