Cork Tree is one of the current Forbo colours for Marmoleum Cinch Loc Seal, a floating 12" x 36" linoleum panel that clicks together without glue. The panel has a Marmoleum surface on a waterproof HDF core, finished underneath with a layer of real cork. The colour name nods to the bark of the cork oak.

Installation

Unbox the panels and let them acclimate for 48 hours. Forbo calls for a subfloor flat to within 2 mm over 2 meters and a 3/8" perimeter gap. Over concrete, check that internal relative humidity is 75% or lower and lay a vapor barrier.

Is Cork Tree made of cork? The surface is Marmoleum linoleum; the name describes the colour. There is, however, a cork backing on every panel.

Can Cork Tree be used in a cabin with radiant heat? Yes, if the system is hydronic and the substrate stays at or below 85°F. A vapor barrier is required.

How long should panels acclimate? At least 48 hours, with the room held at about 75°F and 50% relative humidity for seven days before installing.
