Marmoleum Cinch Loc Seal Panel - Black 12" x 36"

Marmoleum Cinch Loc Seal Black — 12" x 36" Click Panel

Marmoleum Cinch Loc Seal Black is a true black linoleum panel, 12" x 36", that joins edge to edge without glue. With a light reflectance value of just 5%, it is about as dark as a floor color gets. Forbo builds it on a Seal core with a cork backing.

Best for: High-contrast kitchens, art studios, home theaters and bold modern interiors.

The Look

Forbo lists Black at NCS S 9000-N with an LRV of 5%, a pure, neutral black. On long panels it creates a deep, gallery-like floor that makes white walls and bright furniture pop. It is a confident design choice and works best with plenty of light.

Why Choose Black Panels?

• A 5% LRV black for maximum contrast
• Neutral black with no blue or brown cast
• Linoleum surface with Forbo's Topshield pro protection
• Glueless click installation, ready for use straight away

Installation

Black panels float, joined by the Välinge 5G click system. A vapor barrier must be used over concrete or radiant heat, per the product data. Black shows unevenness and grit more than mid tones, so prepare a flat, clean subfloor and fix any 2 mm variations, as Forbo advises.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a black floor hard to maintain? Black floors can show dust and footprints more than mid tones. Forbo describes Marmoleum as anti-static, and our care instructions call for regular dust mopping and damp mopping.

Is Marmoleum Black a true black? Yes. Forbo lists it as NCS S 9000-N with a 5% light reflectance value.

Can I use Black panels in a home theater? Yes. The dark floor reduces reflected light, and adding Forbo's foam underlay helps too: Forbo quotes a 21 dB improvement.

What is in each carton? 7 panels, 20.34 sq ft, around 40 lbs. Minimum 5 cartons per order; 32 per pallet.
