Marmoleum Vivace Commercial Linoleum Sheet Flooring by Forbo

Marmoleum Vivace is the boldest of the marbled Marmoleum sheets. Each design blends six to eight colors into a lively, high-movement pattern, so the floor has more depth and contrast than Real or Fresco and does an excellent job of hiding dirt, scuffs and wear. It is made mostly from natural, renewable raw materials such as linseed oil, wood flour, jute and limestone, and comes with a double UV-cured Topshield finish that makes it ready for traffic right after installation and keeps routine maintenance simple.

Best for: Lobbies, retail, hospitality, schools, children's spaces, healthcare common areas and any project that wants a floor with more pattern and personality.

Colors

Marmoleum Vivace comes in 9 multi-tone colors:

• Greys and neutrals: Surprising Storm 3420, Oyster Mountain 3421, Agate 3427

How Sheet Linoleum Is Sold

Marmoleum Vivace is a 2.5 mm (1/10") sheet in rolls about 79" (2 m) wide and up to 105 ft long. It is cut to the length your project needs and quoted by the square yard. The factory edge is not seam quality, so installers trim at least 1" from each edge at seams. Give us your room dimensions and we will help you plan roll cuts and quantities.

Because sheet is cut to your order, cut sheet goods are not returnable. Please confirm colors with samples and measurements with your installer before ordering.

Installation and Supplies

Marmoleum sheet is a glue-down floor installed by a flooring professional, with seams heat-welded. Installation supplies are sold only with a Marmoleum flooring order and are included in your quote.

• Adhesive: Forbo Sustain 1195, Sustain 100 or Forbo 660, as listed in Forbo's Marmoleum sheet installation guide. Your installer selects the adhesive based on the subfloor and job conditions.
• Seams: Marmoweld color-matched welding rod
• Care: Forbo Neutral pH Cleaner for routine maintenance

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Marmoleum and vinyl? Marmoleum is linoleum, made mainly from linseed oil, wood flour, jute and limestone. Vinyl is a PVC plastic. Marmoleum is PVC-free and 100% USDA Certified BioBased.

What is the difference between Marmoleum Vivace and Marmoleum Real or Fresco? All three are marbled linoleum sheet. Vivace blends six to eight colors in each design for a bolder pattern with more movement and contrast. Real has a classic, more defined marble, and Fresco has a softer, finer, low-contrast marble.

How is Marmoleum sheet priced? Sheet linoleum is cut to length and quoted by the square yard. Call 1-888-976-8166 with your square footage for a project quote. The minimum order is 250 sq ft.

Can I return Marmoleum sheet? No. Sheet is cut to the length you order, so cut sheet goods are not returnable. Order free samples first to confirm your colors.

Is Marmoleum Vivace good for high-traffic commercial spaces? Yes. It is rated for very heavy commercial use, has a Class 1 fire rating, and its busy multi-tone pattern is very good at hiding everyday soil between cleanings.

Specifier Tips

Marmoleum Vivace shares its thickness and roll width with Real, Fresco, Striato and the solid Marmoleum collections, so colors from different collections can be combined in borders, inlays and wayfinding paths. Because the pattern is busy, Vivace often works best as a feature: use it in entries, lobbies or activity zones, and pair it with a calmer Fresco or Real field color in corridors. Surprising Storm and Oyster Mountain are the most versatile choices for larger areas.
