Osmo Polyx-Oil 3054 Satin is the original version of Polyx-Oil designed for USA. It has a lower solvent content to keep VOCs down for the regions with strict VOC laws. That being said, it is harder to work with and you have limited options on application process. The upside is a higher coverage rate. 3043 is the newer version that has a higher solvent level. It's easier to work with, dries faster and you have multiple ways to apply it.

The premise of Osmo Polyx^®-Oil is to allow any interior wood surface to retain its natural look and feel. Osmo Polyx^®-Oil penetrates deep into the wood protecting the surface from within and providing excellent liquid and abrasion resistance. Osmo Polyx^®-Oil Original is ideal for protecting unfinished wood, OSB, and cork.
