Philadelphia Commercial Backdrop 2 12 ft Warm-Neutral Outdoor Broadloom Carpet

Philadelphia Commercial Backdrop 2 12 (style #54681) is a 12 ft commercial broadloom carpet for outdoor and indoor/outdoor spaces, made in the USA from 100% UV polypropylene in two warm neutral colors. The UV-stabilized fiber is meant to hold its color in sun and stand up to moisture, which is why the style is listed for patios, decks, walkways and event areas. Its 12 ft width covers wide terraces and event lawns in a single drop.

Best for: Patios and decks, covered walkways, event tents and outdoor venues, porches, and sunrooms of hotels, clubs and senior living communities.

Colors

• Natural Finish 00100: a warm tan with a slightly sandy cast, light enough to keep a covered porch feeling bright.
• Peat 00700: a mid-dark earthy brown that disguises tracked-in soil on busy paths.

Why Choose Backdrop 2 12

• Built for outdoor and indoor/outdoor areas such as patios, decks and walkways
• 100% UV polypropylene fiber that holds its color in sun
• Domestically made by Philadelphia Commercial
• 12 ft width for wide terraces and event floors
• Two warm neutrals that suit wood decking, stone and pavers

Installation

The style page for Backdrop 2 12 does not list approved installation methods. Outdoor broadloom is most often glued down over sound concrete or another suitable exterior substrate with an adhesive rated for outdoor use, while temporary event floors are sometimes laid loose and taped. Slope and drainage of the surface should be checked first. Follow the Backdrop 2 12 spec sheet and the adhesive maker's exterior guidance.

Specifier Tips

For an event venue or club, run Backdrop 2 12 in Peat across the main patio where traffic concentrates and use Natural Finish in a covered lounge or sunroom where it can brighten the space. For side paths, a 6 ft indoor/outdoor roll avoids seaming down the center of a narrow walkway.
