Philadelphia Commercial Casual Boucle 12 ft Boucle-Texture Indoor/Outdoor Broadloom Carpet

Philadelphia Commercial Casual Boucle (style #54637) is a looped, boucle-texture commercial indoor/outdoor broadloom carpet, 12 ft wide and produced domestically from 100% high-UV polypropylene. The loops give it a woven look. The boucle surface gives patios and sunrooms a softer, more residential feel than a flat outdoor carpet. Its six colors are all natural, earthy tones, from straw and teak to fern and flagstone, chosen to sit beside wicker, teak and stone.

Best for: Verandas and porches, sunrooms, resort and hospitality seating areas, senior living patios and clubhouse terraces.

Colors

• Weathered Teak 00100: a warm greige-taupe like silvered teak furniture.
• Straw Weave 00200: a light straw tan, the brightest color in the line.
• Fernwood 00300: a dark olive green with a natural, garden feel.
• Clay Pot 00600: a soft terracotta brown.
• Natural Twine 00700: a medium jute-like brown.
• Flagstone 00701: a dark gray-brown, the deepest option, for entries.

All six colors are earthy and natural, light to dark. Request free samples to see the boucle texture in person.

Why Choose Casual Boucle

• Looped boucle texture for a softer, residential look outdoors
• 100% high-UV polypropylene for sunny patios and sunrooms
• American manufacturing
• Six natural colors that coordinate with wicker, teak and stone
• 12 ft broadloom width for verandas and lounges

Installation

The style page for Casual Boucle does not list approved methods. A looped indoor/outdoor carpet is typically glued down in full over a sound, clean surface; outdoors, use an adhesive made for exterior exposure. With loop textures, cut edges and seams should be sealed so loops do not pull loose. Your installer should review the Casual Boucle spec sheet first.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a boucle carpet? Boucle is a looped texture that looks woven, like a nubby fabric. Philadelphia Commercial Casual Boucle brings that texture to a 12 ft indoor/outdoor broadloom carpet.

Is Casual Boucle good for a sunroom or veranda? Yes. Casual Boucle is made from 100% high-UV polypropylene for sunny spaces, and its soft, residential look suits verandas, sunrooms and hospitality seating areas.

What colors does Casual Boucle come in? Casual Boucle comes in Weathered Teak, Straw Weave, Fernwood, Clay Pot, Natural Twine and Flagstone, all natural earth tones.

Should loop outdoor carpet be avoided where there are chair casters? Loop textures like Casual Boucle can snag under sharp edges or heavy rolling loads, so use chair glides and keep wheeled carts on hard paths.

Is Casual Boucle made in the USA? Yes. Philadelphia Commercial identifies Casual Boucle #54637 as a USA-made style.

Specifier Tips

In a senior living sunroom, Straw Weave keeps the room light while Flagstone at the doorway hides wear. On a resort veranda, Weathered Teak complements teak furniture. Avoid using the boucle texture where rolling carts or wheelchairs make tight turns; a resilient floor or flatter carpet works better there.
