Philadelphia Commercial Forma 24x24 Patterned Commercial Carpet Tile

Philadelphia Commercial Forma (style #54948) is a 24" x 24" commercial carpet tile in a patterned design; its face is Pivotal fiber (100%) over a performance backing, and Shaw produces it in the USA. It belongs to a family that includes both square and plank-shaped tiles, giving designers a way to mix formats within one look. Forma's six colors are all on the deep side: a navy-slate, a neutral gray, two charcoals, a taupe and a dark umber, so it suits busy floors where hiding soil matters more than brightness.

Best for: Busy offices, schools, government buildings, corridors and lobbies, transit-adjacent facilities and multifamily common areas.

Colors

• Association 00400: a deep navy-slate.
• Relation 00500: a medium-dark neutral gray.
• Inclination 00505: a charcoal with warm undertones.
• Connection 00510: a smoky charcoal-brown.
• Alliance 00700: a muted taupe, the lightest Forma color.
• Comparison 00705: a dark umber brown.

Why Choose Forma 24x24

• Pivotal fiber face with performance backing
• Deep six-color palette that hides traffic soil
• Made in the USA
• Part of a family with both square and plank tiles
• Quarter Turn installation for a seam-hiding checkerboard

Installation Methods

The Forma style page lists Quarter Turn (it mentions two methods but names only one). In a Quarter Turn layout each square is rotated 90 degrees from its neighbor, which hides seams and evens out the pattern across a room. Consult the installation guide before laying any other pattern, and use the care guide below for maintenance.

Specifier Tips

Use Association as an accent band at reception or in a navy-branded office, with Relation or Alliance as the main field. Comparison and Connection suit lobbies near exterior doors. In a mixed-material plan, pair Forma with a dark resilient plank at cafes or copy rooms so the transition reads as intentional.
