Philadelphia Commercial Format 12 ft Loop and Pattern Commercial Broadloom Carpet

Format, style #54950 from Philadelphia Commercial, is a durable 12-foot commercial broadloom carpet that combines simple loop textures with patterned options, so solid-reading and graphic floors can be coordinated in one space. Its fiber is 100% Eco Solution Q nylon, set on a performance backing and made in the USA; the style is aimed at offices, corridors and other high-traffic commercial areas. Format uses the same nine color names as Forge, which gives designers two related looks that can meet at a threshold without clashing.

Best for: Headquarters offices, call centers, corridors in higher-education buildings, coworking spaces and medical office suites.

Colors

• Formula 50100: a soft warm taupe that reads light in sunny rooms.
• System 50200: cocoa-taupe with more brown depth than Formula.
• Outline 50400: a cool steel gray, the only blue-leaning shade in the set.
• Composition 50500: soft mid gray carrying a mild warm undertone.
• Construct 50505: medium smoke gray for a calm, quiet field.
• Arrange 50510: dark ash charcoal that holds up in entries and lift lobbies.
• Layout 50515: greige with a gentle rosy tint.
• Concept 50520: gray with a muted mauve-brown cast.
• Plan 50700: a walnut-taupe mid brown for warmer schemes.

Format colors sit in the middle of the value range, so contrast between rooms stays subtle. Order free samples of two or three neighbors to test them side by side.

Why Choose Format 12 ft

• Loop textures and patterned options designed to be used together
• 100% Eco Solution Q nylon, made in the USA
• Performance backing built for high-traffic commercial use
• Shares color names with Forge for coordinated multi-style plans
• 12 ft broadloom for seamless-looking wall-to-wall rooms

Installation

Format is produced in 12 ft wide rolls. In wide offices, lay out seams parallel to the main light source where possible and keep them out of heavy pivot points such as reception desks. Patterned areas need extra allowance for pattern matching across seams. The approved installation method, adhesive and subfloor preparation are listed in the manufacturer documents; see the Format spec sheet before bidding the job.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can Format be used with other patterned Philadelphia Commercial broadloom? Yes. Format shares its nine color names with Forge broadloom, so the two styles can meet at doorways or zone changes while keeping one consistent palette.

Is Format carpet suitable for call centers and open offices? Format is a 12 ft commercial broadloom with a loop texture and performance backing aimed at busy offices and corridors, so it is a practical fit for seated work areas with steady foot traffic.

Where is Format broadloom made? Philadelphia Commercial Format is made in the USA using 100% Eco Solution Q nylon.

Does a loop broadloom like Format show traffic lanes? Mid-value colors such as Construct, Composition or Concept tend to mask soil better than the lightest shades, and the loop texture of Format keeps a tight, even surface in walkways.

What is the minimum order for Format? Format broadloom carries a 250 sq. ft. minimum and is priced by project quote. Call GreenFlooringSupply.com at 1-888-976-8166 to get a quote or request samples.

Specifier Tips

Specify Outline in boardrooms and executive suites for a cooler accent, and carry Composition or Construct through workstations and corridors. Where Format meets Forge at a doorway, keep the same color name on both sides so the change reads as texture only. Use a resilient flooring in pantries and copy rooms where spills are likely.
