Philadelphia Commercial Indwell SPC SS 7x48 Smooth-Surface Oak Commercial Rigid Core Luxury Vinyl Plank

Philadelphia Commercial Indwell SPC SS (style #5663V) is an SPC rigid core commercial luxury vinyl plank, 7" wide and 48" long, that pairs a classic oak hardwood look with a smooth surface texture. The visual carries pronounced grain and natural tonal variation, but the flatter surface gives it a cleaner hand that suits both traditional and modern interiors. The planks float over the subfloor, which makes Indwell SPC SS a practical option for offices, multifamily and retail renovations, and an ExoGuard+® finish helps protect against daily wear. Thirteen oak colors give it the same breadth as the textured Indwell SPC.

Best for: Corporate suites, apartment renovations, boutique retail, medical office waiting rooms and amenity spaces that want an oak look with a smoother feel underfoot.

Colors

• Shadow 00520: a soft putty gray that leans cool beside white millwork.
• Texas Bur 00825: rich russet-brown oak, the warmest of the dark shades.
• Sand Dune 01169: light buff oak that brightens small offices.
• Ohlone Oak 02027: a mid golden oak with lively grain contrast.
• Willow Oak 02028: a weathered gray-tan oak with a relaxed, coastal mood.
• South Bay 02029: light warm sand, a safe neutral for model units.
• Blue Ridge 05100: taupe-gray with a smoky depth for modern spaces.
• Honeycomb 06040: honey-amber oak that pairs with brass and warm woods.
• Aged Barrel Oak 07099: deep charcoal-brown for dramatic, high-contrast rooms.
• Seneca Oak 07100: dark cocoa oak, slightly cooler than Aged Barrel Oak.
• Walnut Hill 07192: a mid grayish-brown that reads like lightly weathered walnut.
• Mesa Oak 07194: light tawny oak with a soft, natural finish.
• Native Pecan 07195: dark pecan with brown-olive depth.

Why Choose Indwell SPC SS

• Oak visual with pronounced grain and a smooth surface texture
• SPC rigid core planks that float over the subfloor
• ExoGuard+® finish for everyday wear protection
• 13 colors that match the Indwell oak palette
• Suited to office, multifamily and retail renovation work

Installation Methods

Indwell SPC SS is approved for floating installation, meaning the planks connect to each other rather than being glued to the floor beneath. That keeps the job fast and clean, which is useful when a renovation has to happen while neighboring suites stay open. Floating floors still need a flat, clean, dry substrate, so test moisture and prepare the subfloor to Shaw's requirements; installation details are referenced in the spec sheet.

Specifier Tips

Because the surface is smoother, Indwell SPC SS photographs and cleans up with a crisper look than heavily textured planks, so it works well in amenity lounges and leasing centers. Try Willow Oak or Shadow with gray or black fixtures, and Honeycomb or Mesa Oak with warmer brass and walnut accents. Where the plank meets carpet tile in an office, plan a reducer that matches the plank height.
