Philadelphia Commercial Mindful Movement TL 24x24 Vintage Rug-Inspired Commercial Carpet Tile

Philadelphia Commercial Mindful Movement TL (style #55012) is a 24x24 commercial carpet tile whose medium-scale organic pattern captures the feel of a worn vintage rug. The motif sits between the bold botanical of its sibling Modern Heirloom TL and the quiet ribbing of Muted Rhythms TL, so it works as the middle voice of a three-part, US-made collection. Because the pattern is mid-sized, it reads clearly in a lounge yet does not overwhelm a private office, and the 12 colorways are shared across all three styles for easy mixing.

Best for: Hotel lobbies and guest corridors, senior living common rooms, resident lounges, executive suites and offices that want a softer, residential character.

Colors

• Chiffon 00200: a soft mid greige with a gentle warmth, the easiest neutral in the set to pair with light wood.
• Flaxen 00202: taupe leaning slightly rosy, giving the rug-like motif a lived-in, faded quality.
• Windsor Tan 00208: the warmest of the light tones, a sandy tan-taupe for welcoming lounges.
• Willow 00402: a pebble gray that sits almost neutral, useful where warm and cool finishes meet.
• Larkspur 00406: deep slate with a cool blue undertone for a calmer, more tailored room.
• Peacock 00408: a dark mossy gray with an olive hint rather than a bright jewel tone.
• Abalone 00502: mushroom gray-beige in the middle depth range, quiet beside walnut or oak.
• Gauntlet Grey 00504: a darker warm gray that holds up in busier circulation zones.
• Florentine 00506: mid-dark stone gray that softens the contrast between light and deep areas.
• Lava 00512: the deepest option, a brownish charcoal suited to entries and elevator lobbies.
• Saffron 00602: a muted russet brown that brings out the vintage character of the pattern.
• Saddle 00700: leather-toned brown with a warm cast for dens, libraries and lounges.

The 12 colors fall into warm 002xx taupes, cooler 004xx tones, 005xx grays and 006xx/007xx browns. Request free samples to compare them against your furniture and wall finishes.

Why Choose Mindful Movement TL 24x24

• Medium-scale organic pattern inspired by vintage rugs, with an aged, residential feel
• Part of a three-style collection with Modern Heirloom TL and Muted Rhythms TL, all in the same 12 colorways
• Produced in the United States under Shaw's Philadelphia Commercial label
• Square 24x24 format approved for five installation methods, including quarter turn and random
• Patterned surface camouflages crumbs, spills and foot traffic better than a solid field

Installation Methods

The manufacturer approves Quarter Turn, Random, Monolithic, Ashlar and Brick layouts for Mindful Movement TL. Monolithic lays every tile facing one way so the organic motif flows continuously, which suits a rug-like look in a lobby. Quarter Turn rotates each tile 90 degrees and breaks the motif into a checkered rhythm, while Random hides seams best and makes replacing a single tile almost invisible. Ashlar and Brick offset each row by a portion of the tile for a subtle linear drift. Follow the Philadelphia Commercial installation guide for adhesive and layout details.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Mindful Movement TL carpet tile good for senior living? Mindful Movement TL was designed with hospitality and senior living in mind, and its medium-scale, rug-inspired pattern gives common rooms a familiar, home-like feel while the modular 24x24 format allows easy tile-by-tile replacement.

Which styles coordinate with Mindful Movement TL? Mindful Movement TL is one of three coordinating designs, alongside the large botanical Modern Heirloom TL and the ribbed Muted Rhythms TL. All three come in the same 12 colorways, so they can be zoned side by side in one project.

How large is the pattern on Mindful Movement TL? Philadelphia Commercial describes Mindful Movement TL as a medium-scale organic pattern, larger and more visible than a texture but smaller than the botanical motif on Modern Heirloom TL.

Should Mindful Movement TL be installed monolithic or random? Monolithic keeps the vintage-rug motif flowing in one direction for a continuous look, while Random scatters it and best disguises seams and replacement tiles. Many projects use monolithic in feature rooms and random in corridors.

Is Mindful Movement TL made in the USA? Yes. Philadelphia Commercial lists Mindful Movement TL as made in the USA.

Specifier Tips

In a senior living community, run Mindful Movement TL in Windsor Tan through lounges and dining rooms, then switch to Muted Rhythms TL in the same color for the hallways so the pattern steps down without a color break. Lava or Gauntlet Grey makes a practical walk-off band at building entries. Saffron and Saddle pair well with traditional furniture, while Larkspur gives a cooler, more contemporary read.
