Philadelphia Commercial Natural Path 12 ft Turf-Style Indoor/Outdoor Broadloom Carpet

Philadelphia Commercial Natural Path (style #54636) is a 12 ft wide indoor/outdoor broadloom carpet with a turf-style surface, built for heavy outdoor foot traffic and produced domestically in 100% high-UV polypropylene. Unlike green turf, Natural Path comes in six earthy colorways, from warm taupes and browns to a muted stony gray, so it looks like an outdoor floor finish rather than a lawn. Shaw files it under turf, yet it is sold as broadloom carpet, which makes it a good middle ground for patios and decks that need texture without a grass color.

Best for: Restaurant patios, hotel pool decks, covered walkways, clubhouse porches, apartment balconies and outdoor seating areas at offices and campuses.

Colors

• Macrame 00100: a medium warm taupe that sits comfortably next to concrete pavers and teak furniture.
• Seedling 00300: the lightest choice, a khaki tan with a faint green-gold undertone.
• Riverview 00400: a muted stony gray with a cool, slightly greenish cast, the coolest tone in the line.
• Sundown 00600: a warm reddish brown, like sun-baked clay.
• Tree House 00700: a mid brown-tan with a wood-deck warmth.
• Mineralite 00701: the darkest option, a deep mushroom brown that conceals tracked-in dirt well.

Five of the six colors are warm browns and taupes; Riverview is the one cooler alternative. Order free samples to judge them against your pavers or decking.

Why Choose Natural Path 12 ft

• Turf-style surface in neutral earth tones instead of grass green
• 100% high-UV polypropylene fiber for sun-exposed locations
• Built to take heavy outdoor foot traffic
• 12 ft broadloom width for large patios and decks
• Produced in the USA by Philadelphia Commercial

Installation

Natural Path is supplied as 12 ft broadloom. On a deck or patio, plan seams parallel to the main direction of travel and keep them out of doorways and stair landings. Shaw does not list installation methods on the Natural Path style page, so use the spec sheet and an installer experienced with outdoor carpet to choose adhesive and confirm the surface is sound and suitable before installation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Natural Path a turf or an outdoor carpet? Both descriptions fit. Philadelphia Commercial lists Natural Path #54636 as a turf product, but it is sold as 12 ft indoor/outdoor broadloom carpet in neutral earth tones rather than grass greens.

Will Natural Path hold up on a busy restaurant patio? Natural Path is built for heavy outdoor foot traffic and uses 100% high-UV polypropylene, which makes it a reasonable match for patios that see daily seating turnover. Darker colors such as Mineralite will show the least soil.

What colors does Natural Path come in? Natural Path offers six colors: Macrame, Seedling, Riverview, Sundown, Tree House and Mineralite, mostly warm taupes and browns with Riverview as the cooler gray.

Is Natural Path made in the USA? Yes. Philadelphia Commercial manufactures Natural Path broadloom in the United States.

Specifier Tips

Pick the color from the hardscape, not the furniture: Macrame or Seedling suits light concrete and limestone, Sundown and Tree House echo brick and cedar, and Mineralite works next to dark pavers or under dining tables where food spills happen. On large terraces, run one color across the seating area and frame it with a contrasting color only along a covered walkway.
