Philadelphia Commercial Novara 24x24 Terrazzo-Look Commercial Luxury Vinyl Tile

Philadelphia Commercial Novara (style #5684V) is a 24" x 24" heavy commercial luxury vinyl tile that updates classic terrazzo with oversized aggregate chips and a matte, textured emboss, so the contrast is both visible and felt. Poured terrazzo is costly and slow to install; Novara offers the speckled look in a glue-down square tile with Shaw's ExoGuard® finish. The seven colors run from near-white Avorio and blush Sabbia through Grigio and blue-gray Zaffiro to near-black Nero, giving designers terrazzo options for both bright and dramatic spaces.

Best for: Building lobbies, hotel public areas, school entries and cafeterias, retail stores, restaurants and corporate break rooms.

Colors

• Saggio 00369: a cool mid gray with a slight blue lean, a calm everyday terrazzo.
• Nero 00937: deep charcoal-black for bold borders and statement lobbies.
• Avorio 01170: the brightest option, a soft ivory white with fine chip contrast.
• Sabbia 01171: a warm, pale sand with a faint blush.
• Zaffiro 04005: a dusty sapphire-blue gray, the one true color accent in the line.
• Grigio 05212: balanced medium gray that suits most commercial finishes.
• Toratora 05213: a dark warm taupe-brown that hides grit at entries.

Pair a light base such as Avorio or Sabbia with Nero or Zaffiro accents to create borders or inlays, a classic terrazzo approach. Free Novara samples help confirm chip scale.

Why Choose Novara

• Terrazzo visual with enlarged aggregate for a modern scale
• Matte textured emboss adds tactile contrast
• Heavy commercial luxury vinyl tile construction
• 24" x 24" square format suited to grids and inlays
• ExoGuard® finish and direct glue installation

Installation Methods

Novara is approved for direct glue installation. Full-spread adhesive holds each 24x24 tile firmly in place under heavy foot traffic and rolling loads in lobbies and cafeterias. Square tiles are usually laid in a straight grid, and Novara's colors can be cut and combined for borders or simple geometric inlays. Prepare the subfloor and run moisture tests according to Shaw's instructions, referenced from the spec sheet.

Specifier Tips

In a school or office lobby, use Grigio or Saggio as the main field and outline the entry walk-off zone in Nero so the darker band takes the first hit of tracked-in soil. Zaffiro makes a good wayfinding color in corridors. Keep the brightest colors, Avorio and Sabbia, for areas away from exterior doors.
