Philadelphia Commercial On The Move 12 ft Traffic-Ready Commercial Broadloom Carpet

Philadelphia Commercial On The Move (style #54801) is a 12 ft commercial broadloom carpet designed to handle steady traffic while holding its color, which makes it a natural corridor and circulation carpet; it is American-made from solution-dyed Solution Q nylon. It coordinates with On Site and On Target through six shared color names. In our color photos On The Move reads as the deepest of the three, a useful trait for hallways that take the most wear.

Best for: Apartment and condo hallways, office corridors, school hallways outside classrooms, clinic waiting rooms and elevator lobbies.

Colors

• Right On 01210: a medium taupe, deeper than the same name in On Site.
• Roger That 01404: dark charcoal-gray with cool, faintly green notes.
• Sure Thing 01500: muted olive-taupe that softens gray walls.
• To The Point 01505: smoky dark gray for busy passageways.
• On The Nose 01510: deep brown-gray that keeps soil out of sight.
• That's The Idea 01700: rich chocolate-taupe with a warm finish.

Each shade in this style is a step darker than its namesake in the other two styles of the group, helpful when hallways should read deeper than adjoining rooms.

Why Choose On The Move 12 ft

• Designed to handle steady traffic while keeping its color
• Solution-dyed Solution Q nylon
• Six colors that link to On Site and On Target by name
• 12 ft wide rolls suit long runs down corridors
• USA-made

Installation

Corridors are where a 12 ft broadloom shines: most hallways are narrower than the roll, so On The Move can often run the full length of a hall with seams only at the ends or at junctions. For wider lobbies, plan seams parallel to the direction people walk. Confirm adhesive, floor preparation and the installation method on the manufacturer's spec sheet before work begins.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is On The Move a good carpet for apartment hallways? Yes. Philadelphia Commercial On The Move was designed for steady traffic, its solution-dyed nylon holds color, and its 12 ft width lets many corridors be covered without lengthwise seams.

What styles match On The Move? On The Move coordinates with On Site and On Target; all three share the color names Right On, Roger That, Sure Thing, To The Point, On The Nose and That's The Idea.

Will a 12 ft broadloom need seams in a hallway? In hallways up to 12 feet wide, On The Move can usually run lengthwise with no side seam, needing cross seams only where rolls end or corridors meet. Wider spaces need planned seams.

Is On The Move made in the USA? Yes. On The Move is a USA-made Philadelphia Commercial style, and Philadelphia Commercial belongs to Shaw Industries.

How much On The Move do I need to buy? On The Move orders start at 250 sq ft, with On The Move pricing set by quote. Send your floor plan or call 1-888-976-8166 so the 12 ft roll layout can be calculated.

Specifier Tips

Put On The Move in To The Point or On The Nose down the corridors, then switch to On Site in the same color name inside units' entry areas or amenity rooms; the slightly lighter tone inside rooms helps guide people visually. At elevator lobbies, use That's The Idea to warm the space while still hiding traffic soil.
