Philadelphia Commercial Pylon SPC 12x24 Stone-Look Commercial Rigid Core Luxury Vinyl Tile

Philadelphia Commercial Pylon SPC (style #5M407) is a stone-look commercial luxury vinyl tile in a 12" by 24" format with a rigid SPC core. It captures classic architectural stone, with marble, soapstone and slate visuals from crisp whites through warm neutrals to bold veined darks. Built for heavy commercial traffic with an ExoGuard® finish, Pylon SPC can be either glued down or floated, which gives contractors a choice based on schedule and site conditions. It is a good fit for lobbies, corridors, retail and healthcare spaces. Its six colors match the Pylon Glue Down tile, so the two can share a design scheme.

Best for: Healthcare corridors and lobbies, retail stores, office renovations, hospitality public areas and education buildings on tight schedules.

Colors

• Charcoal Sopstn 00938: a rich, dark soapstone with a charcoal depth.
• Carrara White 01172: an icy white marble with crisp, clean veining.
• Beige Slate 01173: sandy taupe slate with gentle warmth.
• Ivory Soapstone 01174: a warm, milky soapstone white.
• Gray Slate 05214: a medium gray slate with brown undertones.
• Light Gry Spstn 05215: soft, light gray soapstone with a calm feel.

Why Choose Pylon SPC

• SPC rigid core tile for heavy commercial traffic
• Approved for direct glue or floating installation
• Marble, soapstone and slate visuals in a 12" x 24" format
• ExoGuard® finish for durable protection
• Same six colors as Pylon Glue Down

Installation Methods

Pylon SPC is approved for direct glue or floating installation. Floating lets the rigid tiles rest on the subfloor without adhesive, speeding up renovations in buildings that stay open. Direct glue fully bonds the tile and is worth considering where carts, beds or other rolling loads are frequent. With either method, the substrate must meet Shaw's flatness and moisture limits; the spec sheet links to the details.

Specifier Tips

On a phased renovation, float Pylon SPC in suites that must reopen quickly and glue it down in main corridors and elevator lobbies. Beige Slate and Gray Slate are the best choices for high-soil areas; save Carrara White for feature zones away from entrances. For a seamless look between floors, match Pylon SPC with Pylon Glue Down in the same color.
