Philadelphia Commercial Step On It 24x24 Commercial Nylon Carpet Tile

Philadelphia Commercial Step On It (style #54587) is a 24x24 commercial nylon carpet tile whose Eco Solution Q® fiber is chosen for durable, colorfast wear; it uses a performance backing and is manufactured stateside. It is a focused, six-color line in deep browns and charcoals, with time-themed names like Early Bird, Running Late and Just In Time, built for busy floors where modular replacement is a plus. The manufacturer lists Quarter Turn installation, which alternates tile direction for a subtle checkerboard that hides seams and later replacements.

Best for: Busy offices, corridors, retail back offices, auto dealership offices, property management buildings and service counters.

Colors

• Early Bird 87200: warm brown-khaki, the lightest of the six.
• Running Late 87500: mid-dark gray-brown.
• Move Along 87504: dark cocoa-gray.
• Come On In 87510: near-black espresso.
• Step It Up 87520: black with a faint reddish warmth.
• Just In Time 87700: dark coffee brown.

Every Step On It color is mid-dark to very dark, which is useful in heavy-traffic areas. Request free samples to pick the right depth.

Why Choose Step On It 24x24

• Colorfast 100% Eco Solution Q® nylon
• Performance backing for busy commercial floors
• Quarter Turn installation that hides seams and replacements
• Six deep, soil-hiding colors
• Made in the USA

Installation Methods

Step On It is listed for Quarter Turn installation. Each tile is rotated 90 degrees from its neighbor so the light catches the pile differently on alternating squares. This gives the floor a gentle checkerboard and makes it harder to see where a single tile has been replaced. Confirm adhesive and substrate details on the spec sheet.

Specifier Tips

Use Come On In or Step It Up within the first few feet of entries and around service counters, then lighten to Running Late or Early Bird in offices. Because the palette is dark, plan good lighting and lighter walls so rooms do not feel heavy. Order a few extra cartons for attic stock, since spot replacement is one of the main reasons to choose this tile.
