Philadelphia Commercial Zing Tile 24x24 Color-Forward Commercial Carpet Tile

Philadelphia Commercial Zing Tile (style #54796) is a lively, color-forward commercial carpet tile in a 24" x 24" square, built on performance backing and made in the USA for everyday commercial traffic. Its nine colorways carry upbeat names like Pizzazz, Joyous and Get Up N Go, and their overall tones sit in warm taupes, khakis and soft grays, which lets the accent coloring add energy while the floor stays practical. Four layouts are approved: Monolithic, Quarter Turn, Ashlar and Brick. The modular square is easy to install around furniture and to replace one piece at a time.

Best for: K-12 classrooms and commons, daycare and early learning centers, collaborative offices, community centers and recreation buildings.

Installation Methods

Zing Tile is approved for Brick, Ashlar, Quarter Turn and Monolithic installation. Quarter Turn spins every other square 90 degrees, giving a checkerboard texture that forgives classroom wear; Monolithic orients every tile the same way for a smooth, continuous field; Brick and Ashlar offset rows for a linear feel in corridors. Random is not on the approved list, so pick one of these four and confirm details on the spec sheet.

Specifier Tips

Assign a different Zing Tile color to each grade wing or team neighborhood, such as Vigor, Dash and Blissful, and use Cheerful in shared hallways to tie them together. Quarter Turn is the easiest layout for classrooms with frequent furniture moves. Since the accent colors carry the energy, view samples before choosing so the scheme matches your wall and furniture colors.
