Shaw Bayside 24x24 Limestone-Look Porcelain Tile

Shaw Bayside 24x24 (style 746TS) is a matte glazed porcelain tile measuring 23.31" x 23.31" (nominal 24" x 24") with a softly mottled limestone and concrete look, made in Spain in four colors. Its standout spec is thickness: at 0.787", it is roughly twice as thick as a typical 3/8" floor tile, a heavy profile often chosen for outdoor living areas as well as interiors. The body is impervious and frost resistant, with a wet DCOF of 0.42 or higher, and moderate (V2) variation gives the stone look natural movement.

Best for: Patios, porches, outdoor kitchens and seating areas, entries, kitchens and sunrooms.

Colors

• Stendal Beige 00100: a soft beige limestone look for warm patios and living rooms.

• Stendal Grey 00500: mid gray with a cool, concrete-like calm.
• Rodano Anthracite 00900: dark charcoal that grounds outdoor furniture and hides dirt.

Where to Install

Bayside 24x24 is a frost-resistant floor tile suited to floors and walls in both settings: patios, porches, outdoor kitchens and seating areas, plus entries, kitchens and sunrooms inside. Its thickness and weight mean the setting method should be planned with your installer, especially outdoors.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is Shaw Bayside tile so thick? Shaw Bayside 24x24 is 0.787" thick, about double a standard 3/8" floor tile. Thick porcelain like this is a common choice for outdoor living areas; discuss the setting method with your installer.

Can Bayside 24x24 be used on a patio? Yes. Shaw Bayside 24x24 is frost resistant, absorbs 0.50% or less water and lists a wet DCOF of 0.42 or higher, so it suits patios and porches over a properly prepared exterior base.

How much does a box of Bayside 24x24 cover? One box of Bayside 24x24 covers 7.62 sq ft. Divide your area by 7.62, add 10 to 15% for cuts, and round up to whole boxes.

Can Bayside run from inside to a patio? Yes. Bayside 24x24 works on both interior and exterior floors, so one color can run from a kitchen or living room out to a patio. Plan the height transition where it meets thinner indoor flooring.

What grout goes with Rodano Anthracite? For Bayside in Rodano Anthracite, a charcoal or dark gray grout keeps the floor uniform outdoors, while a lighter gray highlights the grid.
