Shaw Eminent Notion 8x40 Matte Wood-Look Porcelain Tile

Shaw Eminent Notion 507TS is an 8x40 (7.87" x 39.37") matte, wood-look glazed porcelain plank made in the United States. Its long, 8"-wide board gives the proportions of a wide modern hardwood plank, and four tones from light oak to walnut cover everything from a pale Scandinavian floor to a deep traditional one. At 0.315" thick, each box covers 15.07 sq ft. Moderate (V2) shade variation keeps the planks from looking repetitive across a large room.

Best for: Living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, basements, sunrooms, and covered porches.

Colors

• Beige 00100: a light gray-beige oak that suits modern farmhouse and coastal rooms.
• Oak 00200: a natural oak tone, the most classic hardwood look of the four.
• Chestnut 00500: a mid brown with taupe undertones that is forgiving of dust and pet hair.
• Walnut 00700: a deep, warm brown for a rich, traditional floor.

Why Choose Eminent Notion 8x40

• Long 8x40 plank for a wide-board hardwood look
• Made in the United States
• Matte finish that reads like real wood
• 0.50% or less water absorption, so it will not warp or swell
• Wet DCOF of 0.42+ and break strength of 250 lbf or more
• Frost resistant

Where to Install

Floors and walls, indoors and out. Use it in living areas, kitchens, bathrooms, basements over concrete, and frost-exposed porches. On a plank this long, keep the stagger at 33% or less and use a leveling system to control lippage.

Design Pairing Guide

Beige suits white-washed walls, linen-colored sofas, and matte black hardware, with a light greige grout. Oak pairs with white shaker cabinets, green plants, and brushed brass. Chestnut works with cream walls, leather furniture, and a taupe grout. Walnut balances white marble counters, gold fixtures, and a dark brown grout.
