Shaw Empress 8x48 (style 565TS) is a glazed porcelain plank tile with an oak wood look, measuring 7.87" x 47.24" (nominal 8" x 48"). It is the long-board option in the Empress family, meant to read like wide oak flooring from room to room, while the smaller 4x16 and the 24x24 parquet panel handle more decorative layouts. High (V3) shade variation makes plank-to-plank color shifts pronounced, which helps the oak visual avoid obvious repeats across a big floor.

Empress 8x48 is rated for floors and works on walls as well. Use it anywhere you want an oak floor but need water resistance: kitchens, baths, basements and mudrooms. It is frost resistant, so the planks can carry out to a porch or patio. Set the long planks with a random or one-third offset, never a 50% offset, and use a leveling system.
