What makes Titan HD Plus different from thinner vinyl planks? It's a 12 mm WPC plank, one of the thickest in Shaw's lineup, with a 30 mil wear layer. The wood-plastic composite core feels warmer and quieter underfoot than a thin rigid-core plank and does a better job bridging minor subfloor imperfections.

Is it waterproof? Yes. The WPC core is 100% waterproof, so it works in kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms and basements. Wipe up standing water promptly and follow Shaw's installation guide for wet areas.

Do I need a separate underlayment? No cushion underlayment is needed because an IXPE pad is already attached. When installing over concrete, check Shaw's installation guide for moisture requirements.

How many cartons do I need? Each carton covers 17.96 sq ft. Multiply your room's square footage by 1.08 to add 8% overage, then divide by 17.96 and round up. For example, a 500 sq ft room needs 31 cartons.
