Frequently Asked Questions

Is Shaw Endura Plus waterproof? Yes. The SPC core is 100% waterproof, so Endura Plus works in kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms and basements. Wipe up standing water promptly and follow Shaw's installation guide for wet areas.

Do I need a separate underlayment? No cushion underlayment is needed because an EVA foam pad is already attached to every plank. When installing over concrete, check Shaw's installation guide for moisture requirements.

Can Endura Plus go in a basement? Yes. It's approved for installation above, on or below grade.

How many cartons do I need? Each carton covers 18.67 sq ft. Multiply your room's square footage by 1.08 to add 8% overage, then divide by 18.67 and round up. For example, a 500 sq ft room needs 29 cartons.

Can I see Smoky Oak before I order? Yes. Order up to 3 free samples, or call 1-888-976-8166 for help choosing a color.
