Shaw Floorte Pro Anvil Plus 6 mil 7" – Chatter Oak

Chatter Oak is part of Shaw's Floorte Pro Anvil Plus 6 mil line: a 7" x 48" rigid-core (SPC) luxury vinyl plank with a 6 mil wear layer and Shaw's ScufResist® finish. It's 100% waterproof and comes with a Soft Silence® acoustical pad already attached for quieter, more comfortable floors, and it installs as a floating click floor on any level of the home.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Shaw Anvil Plus waterproof? Yes. The SPC core is 100% waterproof, so Anvil Plus works in kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms and basements. Wipe up standing water promptly and follow Shaw's installation guide for wet areas.

What's the difference between Anvil Plus 20 mil and 6 mil? Both share the same 7" x 48" SPC plank, colors and attached pad. The 20 mil version (2357V) has a thicker wear layer and micro-beveled edges for heavier traffic; the 6 mil version (2032V) has square edges and a lower price point. You're viewing the 6 mil version.

Do I need a separate underlayment? No cushion underlayment is needed because a Soft Silence® acoustical pad is already attached to every plank. When installing over concrete, check Shaw's installation guide for moisture requirements.

How many cartons do I need? Each carton covers 27.73 sq ft. Multiply your room's square footage by 1.08 to add 8% overage, then divide by 27.73 and round up. For example, a 500 sq ft room needs 20 cartons.
