Shaw Trace Bullnose Polished Concrete-Look Porcelain Trim Tile

Trace Bullnose Polished, Shaw style 323TS, is a 2.75" x 12" glazed porcelain trim piece with a rounded, finished edge, made to match the concrete and stone look of the Shaw Trace collection. It is the piece that turns a raw cut edge into a clean, factory-finished border on wainscots, shower niches, tub decks and outside corners. The polished face lines up naturally with the Trace Polished 12x24 and 24x24 field tiles, and it can also frame the matte sizes when a slight sheen contrast is wanted. Ordering trim together with field tile helps keep shades consistent.

Best for: Wainscot caps, shower niches, tub surrounds, outside wall corners, backsplash edges and tile baseboards.

Colors

• Pearl 00150: light gray trim that finishes Pearl field tile edges without a visible color break.
• Cream 00200: a cream bullnose for capping Creme installations in the Trace line.
• Gunmetal 00500: dark gray trim that draws a crisp outline against white walls.

Why Choose Trace Bullnose

• Rounded, glazed edge replaces exposed cut edges
• Polished face matches the Trace Polished field tiles
• 0.394" thick, the same thickness Shaw lists for the Trace field sizes
• Frost resistant for exterior trim details
• Water absorption of 0.50% or less (impervious)
• Made in Italy

Where to Install

Trace Bullnose is a trim piece for edges and corners rather than a field tile. Use it to cap a half-height tile wall, wrap shower niche openings, finish a backsplash where it meets painted drywall, or run as a base along a tiled floor. Since it is frost resistant, it can also finish exterior tile on outdoor kitchen islands and porch walls.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a bullnose tile? A bullnose tile has one rounded, glazed edge that finishes the spot where tile ends. Shaw Trace Bullnose Polished (323TS) is a 2.75" x 12" piece made for the edges of Trace concrete-look tile walls and niches.

Does Trace Bullnose match the matte Trace tiles? Shaw Trace Bullnose is polished, so it is an exact finish match for the Trace Polished 12x24 and the polished 24x24. Used with the matte sizes, it gives a slight sheen contrast that works as a deliberate frame.

How many bullnose pieces do I need? Each Shaw Trace Bullnose piece is 12" long, so plan roughly one piece per linear foot of exposed edge, plus about 10% for miters and cuts.

Can Trace Bullnose be used as a baseboard? Yes. Shaw Trace Bullnose (2.75" x 12") works as a tile baseboard, giving a rounded top edge where the base meets the painted wall.

Design Pairing Guide

Match Pearl bullnose to Pearl walls for an invisible finish, or use it to frame a white wall area with a soft gray outline. Cream bullnose pairs with Creme field tile and warm brass shower trim. Gunmetal bullnose makes a graphic border around light tile and looks sharp next to matte black plumbing.

Pair it with the Trace Picket Mosaic or the Trace Polished 24x24, and browse more porcelain tile.
