Shaw Valentino 8x32 Hand-Scraped Wood-Look Porcelain Tile

Shaw Valentino 8x32 (style CS48P) is a glazed porcelain wood-plank tile with a hand-scraped finish, measuring 7.95" x 31.57" (nominal 8" x 32"). The hand-scraped surface carries the subtle dips and ridges of distressed hardwood, so the floor reads as worked timber rather than flat printed tile. At 32" long, the planks are long enough to look like boards yet manageable for one installer, and Shaw lists a break strength of 350 lbf or more. Five colors run from whitewashed to dark espresso.

Best for: Living rooms, kitchens, mudrooms, basements, bedrooms, porches and patios.

Colors

• Action 00100: a whitewashed plank that gives a breezy coastal look.
• Camera 00500: weathered gray boards that suggest sun-bleached barn wood.
• Lights 00700: a light golden oak with an easygoing, natural tone.
• Legend 00750: a warm honey-brown that suits traditional and rustic rooms.
• Hollywood 00770: a dark espresso plank for dramatic contrast with light walls.

Why Choose Valentino 8x32

Where to Install

Valentino 8x32 is made for floors and can also be used on walls. It fits living rooms, kitchens, basements and mudrooms where real hardwood would struggle with water, and its frost rating allows it on porches and patios too. Use a random stagger or an offset no greater than one-third of the plank length.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does hand-scraped tile mean? Hand-scraped describes a surface texture that imitates hardwood shaped by hand tools. On Shaw Valentino 8x32, it gives the planks a distressed, tactile feel underfoot.

Is Valentino wood-look tile good for homes with dogs? Shaw Valentino 8x32 is impervious porcelain with water absorption of 0.50% or less and a hand-scraped texture, so it shrugs off pet accidents and helps disguise minor dust between cleanings.

Which Valentino color hides dirt best? Camera and Legend are the most forgiving Shaw Valentino 8x32 colors for everyday dirt; Hollywood's dark espresso and Action's whitewash show dust and crumbs more easily.

What offset should I use for 8x32 planks? For Shaw Valentino 8x32 planks, use a random stagger or an offset of no more than 33% of the plank length, roughly 10", to reduce lippage.

Can Valentino be installed outside? Yes. Shaw Valentino 8x32 is frost resistant, so the planks can extend to a porch or patio over a properly prepared exterior base.
