Shaw Visionary Matte Marble-Look Porcelain Mosaic Tile

Shaw Visionary Mosaic (style CS98H) is a glazed porcelain mosaic in the Visionary Pulpis marble look, supplied in 11.81" x 11.81" sheets with a matte finish. It is the accent piece of the family: where the Visionary 12x24, 13x13 and 20x20 cover the main floor or wall, the mosaic adds small-scale detail for shower floors, niches, backsplashes and borders. Its many grout joints add texture and grip compared with the larger tiles, and it shares the Retreat, Haven and Refuge colors so accents line up with the field tile. Moderate (V2) shade variation and a frost rating round out the specs.

Best for: Shower floors and niches, backsplashes, bathroom accent walls, borders and inlays framed by Visionary field tile.

Colors

• Retreat 00120: warm beige mosaic that adds soft texture to a shower niche or vanity backsplash.
• Haven 00250: greige mosaic that blends gently into greige or white walls as a border.
• Refuge 00550: veined gray mosaic for a crisp, classic marble accent.

Why Choose Visionary Mosaic

• 11.81" x 11.81" mosaic sheets for quick accent installs
• Matches Visionary field tile colors for coordinated designs
• Low-glare matte surface; wet DCOF rated 0.42 or above
• Glazed porcelain with impervious water absorption
• Frost resistant; moderate (V2) shade variation
• 9.7 sq ft per box

Where to Install

Shaw classifies Visionary Mosaic as an accent tile. Use it for accent areas such as shower floors, shower niches, backsplashes, wainscot borders and decorative floor inlays. Because it is frost resistant, it can also trim an outdoor kitchen backsplash in cold climates.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can Visionary Mosaic go on a shower floor? Yes. Small mosaic tiles suit shower floors, and Visionary Mosaic pairs a matte finish with a wet DCOF of 0.42 or higher, so it can serve as the shower-floor accent in a Visionary bathroom.

How big is a sheet of Visionary Mosaic? Each sheet of Shaw Visionary Mosaic measures 11.81" x 11.81", and one box covers 9.7 sq ft.

Does Visionary Mosaic match the Visionary 12x24? Yes. Visionary Mosaic shares the matte finish and the Retreat, Haven and Refuge colors of the Visionary 12x24, so you can run the 12x24 on walls and the mosaic on the shower floor or niche.

What grout should I use with Visionary Mosaic? With Visionary Mosaic, a grout close to the tile color (beige for Retreat, greige for Haven, light gray for Refuge) keeps the many joints quiet, while white grout makes the grid stand out more.

Do I need to seal Visionary Mosaic? No. Visionary Mosaic is glazed porcelain with 0.50% or less water absorption, so only the grout needs sealing, which matters more on a mosaic because there is more grout per square foot.
