Tesoro Woods Engineered Bamboo – Coffee X-Wide 7-1/2"

Coffee X-Wide is the darkest color in the Tesoro Woods Engineered Bamboo line: a dark, rich brown strand bamboo on extra-wide 7-1/2" x 6-foot click planks, with a handscraped surface for depth and texture.

Frequently Asked Questions

What color is Coffee X-Wide? A deep, rich coffee brown. It is the darkest of the Tesoro engineered bamboo colors.

Will a dark floor show dust and scratches? Dark floors show dust more than light ones, but the handscraped texture and matte finish help hide light scratches and everyday wear.

Is strand bamboo harder than oak? Yes. Strand-woven bamboo is compressed under high pressure, and Tesoro rates it at over 3,000 on the Janka scale. Red oak is about 1,290.

How does it install? The planks have a click-lock profile, so they snap together and float over the subfloor without glue or nails. Follow Tesoro Woods' installation guidelines for subfloor flatness and moisture testing.

Strand Bamboo Strength in a Wide Plank

Strand-woven bamboo is made by shredding bamboo stalks into fibers and pressing them into dense blocks, which makes it far harder than most hardwoods. Tesoro bonds a 3mm strand bamboo wear layer to a stable engineered core, then mills each wide 6-foot plank with a click-lock profile and micro-beveled edges. A UV-cured acrylic urethane finish protects the handscraped surface with a low-sheen look.

Healthy, Rapidly Renewable Flooring

Bamboo is a grass that regrows in a few years, making it one of the most renewable flooring materials available. Tesoro Engineered Bamboo is FloorScore certified for indoor air quality, has no added urea formaldehyde and no VOCs, and is Lacey Act compliant.

Design Pairing Guide — Coffee X-Wide

Coffee's deep brown grounds modern, industrial, and traditional rooms alike. Pair it with crisp white or light gray walls, black metal, light upholstery, and brass accents for contrast.

Ideal Applications

Living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, hallways, home offices, and kitchens. Wipe up spills promptly. Not recommended for full bathrooms, laundry rooms with standing water, or other wet areas.

Why Choose Coffee X-Wide?

For a dramatic dark wide plank that is harder than oak and installs quickly, Coffee X-Wide is the boldest color in the Tesoro Engineered Bamboo line.
