Weathered Shale has a 2mm sawn white oak wear layer on a stable 5-ply engineered core, so it looks and feels like solid hardwood while resisting the cupping and gapping that solid wood can show with seasonal humidity changes. At 1/2" thick and 7-1/2" wide, with lengths up to 75", it gives rooms a substantial wide-plank look. A light wire brushing opens the grain for texture, and a UV-cured matte finish keeps the look natural and helps hide everyday scuffs.
