Wicanders Cork Go Floating Plank - Allure 12"x36"

Wicanders Cork GO Allure — 12" x 36" Honey-Toned Cork Flooring

Wicanders Cork GO Allure is a floating cork floor with a naturally mottled grain in warm, honeyed tones. It is a versatile quiet neutral, neither strictly modern nor rustic, that lets furniture and finishes lead while still giving the room real natural-material character.

Best for: Bohemian living rooms, cottage kitchens and calm, zen-style dining rooms.

The Look

Allure's surface is mottled rather than linear, with the honey warmth many people picture when they think of cork. Wicanders describes the line's visuals as one of a kind, and Allure shows why: no two pieces look exactly alike. We photograph it in a bohemian living room and in a zen-inspired dining room.

Why Choose Allure?

• The classic honey-toned cork look in a modern click format
• Rapidly renewable: cork is stripped from the bark of the cork oak without felling the tree
• PVC-free construction
• Cork is a natural insulator, so the floor feels warm year-round
• 3/8" thick, with cork both above and below the HDF core

Installation

Allure clicks together with the Floating 2G system and floats over the subfloor. Before you begin, confirm the subfloor is dry, flat and even, and roll out the PE moisture barrier film (0.2 mm minimum) that Wicanders specifies beneath its floating floors.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Allure real cork? Yes. The top layer is a genuine cork veneer, supported by an agglomerated cork layer, a high-density fiberboard core and a cork underlay.

Does Allure suit a modern home? It works across styles. The honeyed tone feels at home in bohemian and cottage rooms, yet the mottled pattern is subtle enough to sit with clean-lined modern furniture.

How is cork harvested? Cork comes from the bark of the cork oak. The bark is stripped and regrows, so the tree is not cut down, and it can be harvested again roughly every nine years.

Should I order an Allure sample first? We recommend it. Wicanders notes that colors on screen can look different from the physical product, and you can order up to 3 free samples from us.
