Wicanders Cork Go Floating Plank - Classic Moment 12"x36"

Wicanders Cork GO Classic Moment — 12" x 36" Click-Lock Cork Tile

Wicanders Cork GO Classic Moment is a medium-tone floating cork tile with a smooth, continuous grain that anchors a room without stealing attention. Its balanced color sits in the middle of the Cork GO range, which makes it a safe choice when the rest of the house mixes warm and cool finishes.

Best for: Living rooms, nurseries and mid-century or transitional homes that need a neutral, dependable floor.

The Look

Classic Moment is all about balance. The tone is medium rather than light or dark, and the grain flows smoothly across each 35 5/8" piece so the floor reads as continuous. We show it in a baby's room and in a mid-century modern living room, two very different settings where it holds its own without competing with furniture or art.

Why Choose Classic Moment?

• Medium tone that bridges warm wood furniture and cool painted walls
• Cork recovers its shape after compression, giving a gentle give for crawling babies and bare feet
• Double cork layer for thermal and acoustic comfort
• Square, unbeveled edges keep the surface flat and continuous
• 10-year residential warranty from Wicanders

Installation

The Floating 2G click joints let Classic Moment go down without glue or nails, floating over the subfloor rather than being fastened to it. For a nursery or bedroom refresh, that often means it can go right over existing hard flooring, provided that floor is flat, firmly attached and free of cracks.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Classic Moment a good floor for a nursery? It is a popular choice. Cork has a natural cushion and feels warmer to the touch than tile, and Wicanders lists GREENGUARD Gold, a low chemical emissions certification, for the Cork GO range.

Can Classic Moment go over radiant floor heating? Yes. Wicanders allows its floating cork floors over radiant heat as long as the subfloor surface stays at or below 28°C (82°F). Cork warms up more slowly than laminate but holds heat well.

How should I clean a Classic Moment floor? Sweep or vacuum first, then use a damp, not soaking, mop. Skip ammonia-based cleaners and harsh abrasives, and choose walk-off mats without rubber or latex backing, which can stain cork.

Is Classic Moment a plank or a tile? Wicanders lists it as a tile format, though at 35 5/8" x 11 5/8" it is long and rectangular like a wide plank. We sell it under the nominal 12" x 36" size.
