Wicanders Cork Go Floating Plank - Earth Tones Sand 12"x36"

Wicanders Cork GO Earth Tones Sand — 12" x 36" Neutral Cork Flooring

Wicanders Cork GO Earth Tones Sand is a floating cork floor in a soft, sandy neutral drawn from cork's natural palette. It is one of the most adaptable colors in the collection and pairs easily with almost any design direction.

Best for: Coastal-modern living rooms, desert-modern homes and whole-house installations.

The Look

Earth Tones Sand looks the way its name suggests: a soft sand color with cork's natural grain running through it. Because it avoids strong warmth or coolness, it settles in beside nearly any cabinet, paint or furniture choice. Our room photo places it in a coastal-modern living room.

Why Choose Earth Tones Sand?

• A neutral sand tone that suits almost any cabinet color
• A good candidate for running one floor through several connected rooms
• Moisture-resistant cork that tolerates everyday kitchen use
• Feels warm in winter thanks to cork's insulating cells
• 22.99 sq ft per carton makes quantities easy to work out

Installation

For whole-floor projects, transitions at doorways let a floating floor expand and contract with the seasons; Wicanders notes that cork can expand when humidity rises. The Floating 2G joints lock each piece to the next without adhesive.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I run Earth Tones Sand through my whole house? Yes, in indoor rooms other than saunas and persistently wet spaces. Use transition pieces between rooms so the floating floor can move with humidity changes.

What temperature and humidity does cork need? Wicanders recommends 18-28°C (about 64-82°F) and 35-65% relative humidity during and after installation.

How many cartons for 500 sq ft? With 8% overage that is 540 sq ft. Divided by 22.99 sq ft per carton it comes to about 23.5, so plan on 24 cartons.

Is Earth Tones Sand easy to keep clean? Routine care is a sweep or vacuum plus a damp mop. Felt pads under furniture help protect the surface.
