Overage: For normal orders we recommend you add at least 8% more than the exact square footage of the room. It can be useful to have extra material that perfectly matches the original in case repairs are needed in the future.

Is Wicanders Cork GO waterproof? No. Cork is naturally moisture- and mold-resistant, but Cork GO is not a submersion-proof product. It performs well in kitchens and normally-used bathrooms, but standing water should be wiped up promptly.
Can Cork GO be installed over existing floors? Yes. The floating 2G click system installs over most flat, stable subfloors, including concrete, plywood, and existing hard flooring.

Wicanders Cork GO resists mold, mildew, and dust mites without chemical treatment, making it a strong choice for bedrooms, playrooms, and living spaces where indoor air quality matters. While Cork GO is moisture-resistant and suitable for kitchens and everyday bathroom use, it is not designed for areas with standing water — for those spaces, ask us about Wicanders' fully waterproof Wise collection.
Wicanders Cork GO uses a double cork-layer construction: a compressed cork core for durability and step-sound reduction, topped with a decorative cork veneer and protected by the XtraMatt finish. This gives the floor built-in acoustic and thermal performance — no separate underlayment required. Installation uses a floating 2G click-lock system, so planks snap together without glue or nails, going in cleanly over concrete, plywood, or most existing hard-surface subfloors.
