Wicanders Cork Go Floating Plank - Fashionable Cement 12"x36"

Wicanders Cork GO Fashionable Cement — 12" x 36" Gray Cork Plank

Wicanders Cork GO Fashionable Cement is a floating cork plank with a light, almost white-washed gray visual that gives a modern, industrial look. Unlike real concrete or tile, it stays warm and quiet underfoot.

Best for: Lofts, modern kitchens, studios and Scandinavian-modern living spaces.

The Look

Fashionable Cement borrows the palette of polished concrete, a pale washed gray, and renders it in cork. The result has the cool, minimal mood of an industrial floor, while the natural cork texture keeps it softer and more inviting. We show it in an industrial-loft style space and in close-ups where you can see the pattern running across several planks.

Why Choose Fashionable Cement?

• Concrete-inspired gray without concrete's cold, hard surface
• Cork's cellular structure gives natural thermal and acoustic insulation
• A pale tone that helps rooms with limited daylight feel brighter
• Unbeveled edges for a clean, minimalist surface
• PVC-free

Installation

Fashionable Cement is a popular way to warm up an existing concrete slab. Make sure the slab is dry first: Wicanders asks for relative humidity below 75%, or a calcium chloride or CM moisture test within its limits, and flatness within 3 mm over 2 m. The planks then click together and float.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Fashionable Cement look like real concrete? It takes its cue from concrete with a light, white-washed gray, but it is clearly cork up close. Think of it as the color of concrete with the feel of cork.

Can Fashionable Cement go directly over a concrete slab? Yes, as a floating floor, provided the slab is dry, flat and even. Lay a polyethylene sheet of 0.2 mm or thicker first, as Wicanders specifies for its floating products.

Is there a Fashionable Cement in other Wicanders lines? Yes. The same color name appears in our Wise and Cork Essence collections, which are different constructions. This page is the Cork GO version at $5.99/sq ft Advertised Price.

Is Fashionable Cement waterproof? No, it is moisture-resistant. For wet areas, look at Wicanders Wise, which is sold as a waterproof floor.
