Wicanders Cork Go Floating Plank - Originals Accent 12"x36"

Wicanders Cork GO Originals Accent — 12" x 36" Textured Cork Plank

Wicanders Cork GO Originals Accent is a floating cork plank that highlights cork's natural flecks and grain in a warm neutral tone. Its more pronounced, textured visual is meant to make a statement rather than fade into the background.

Best for: Eclectic, artisan and maker-style homes where the floor should be noticed.

The Look

Originals Accent shows cork at its most recognizable: a warm tan-and-brown base scattered with darker speckled inclusions. The texture is more pronounced than in quieter colors such as Charm or Whim, so the floor becomes part of the decor. Our room photo shows it in an eclectic open dining and living space.

Why Choose Originals Accent?

• Classic speckled cork character
• Lets simple cabinetry and furniture recede while the floor leads
• Genuine cork veneer on a cork-and-HDF core
• Attached cork underlay for comfort and quiet
• Try it at home first with up to 3 free samples

Installation

Originals Accent floats on Floating 2G click joints with no adhesive. If a plank is ever damaged, a floating floor can be unlocked back to that piece and a replacement clicked in, which is one more reason to keep a few spares from your overage.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the Cork GO Originals Accent different from the Cork Essence version? They share a color name but belong to different Wicanders lines. Cork GO is the residential line at $5.99/sq ft Advertised Price; Cork Essence is a separate collection we also carry.

Will Originals Accent work with a patterned rug? It can, but the floor already has plenty of texture. Solid or softly patterned rugs usually let both shine.

Is Originals Accent suitable for busy hallways? Cork GO is rated class 23, the heavy-traffic residential category, so busy household areas are within its intended use. Use entry mats, avoiding rubber or latex backing.

Does Originals Accent need special cleaning products? No. Sweep or vacuum, then damp-mop, avoiding ammonia and abrasive cleaners.
